Elon Musk's xAI is expected to complete its financing as early as this week, with a valuation of 18 billion dollars
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI is expected to complete this round of financing as early as this week, with a valuation of approximately $18 billion.
Bloomberg reported last week that xAI aims to raise $6 billion (currently about 43.38 billion yuan) in the new round of financing, initially expected to be $3 billion, but the valuation has soared due to the subsequent influx of participants. Previously, sources told Bloomberg that Musk's associates at Sequoia Capital and Future Ventures, as well as other undisclosed investors, are also joining this financing battle.
It is reported that Musk recently stated that xAI's next-generation Grok model is being trained on 20,000 NVIDIA H100s, and the demand for AI GPUs for the future Grok 3 will increase to 100,000.
