Jia Shi plans to apply for the opening of a Bitcoin ETF in Hong Kong to mainland China

ChainCatcher news, according to Bitcoinist, Harvest Global Investments has confirmed plans to open these funds to mainland Chinese investors through the Hong Kong Stock Connect mechanism.

Harvest's CEO Han Tongli discussed the possibility of including Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the ETF Connect program at the Bitcoin Asia Conference, which is part of the Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect program launched in 2014, aimed at connecting Hong Kong with mainland Chinese exchanges.

Han Tongli stated, "We do not rule out applying to include our ETFs in the Connect program, as long as everything goes smoothly in the next two years."
