ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, the trading volume on mainstream cryptocurrency exchanges saw its first decline in seven months in April, while the market benchmark Bitcoin price also retreated from its historical high.
According to data from research firm CCData, the spot trading volume on platforms known as centralized exchanges fell by 32.6% last month, dropping to $2 trillion. Meanwhile, the derivatives trading volume also experienced its first decline in seven months, decreasing by 26.1% to $4.57 trillion.
