K33 Research analyst: As of the end of March, 937 professional companies have invested in the U.S. Bitcoin spot ETF

ChainCatcher news, K33 Research senior analyst Vetle Lunde posted on the X platform stating that, according to the 13F report, as of March 31, 937 professional firms invested in the U.S. Bitcoin spot ETF. In contrast, there were 95 professional firms investing in gold ETFs in the first quarter (Bitwise).

Retail investors hold the majority of the circulating supply. As of the end of the first quarter, the exposure held by professional investors was $11.06 billion, accounting for 18.7% of Bitcoin ETF AUM.

Overall, the largest ETFs attracted the most institutional funds, with ARKB and HODL gaining greater institutional dominance, thanks to ARK and VanEck's allocations to these ETFs.
