Senior Democrats strongly oppose FIT21 and stated that they will not hold a vote

ChainCatcher news, House Financial Services Committee Chair Maxine Waters, D-Calif, and House Agriculture Committee Chair D-Ga (the leading Democrats in their respective committees) sent an email to House Democratic members stating that they "strongly oppose" H.R. 4763, the "Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act" (FIT21), but will not whip their members to oppose the bill, and stated that there will be no vote on the cryptocurrency legislation.
