Viewpoint: The SEC will abandon the argument that ETH is a security

ChainCatcher news, Scott Johnsson, partner at Van Buren Capital and a well-known financial lawyer in the U.S., posted on the X platform that Fidelity's application for a spot Ethereum ETF has indicated it will not stake ETH, and a bigger signal is that the commodity grantor trust structure and disclosures remain unchanged. All signs suggest that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will abandon the argument that ETH is a security.
