Matter Labs abandons all trademark applications for the term "ZK"

ChainCatcher news, Matter Labs, the entity behind zkSync, announced on X that it has decided to abandon all trademark applications for the term "ZK".

Previous news, zkSync developer Matter Labs submitted trademark applications for "ZK" in 9 countries, claiming that the term "zero-knowledge" is the company's exclusive intellectual property. This move has sparked widespread dissatisfaction in the crypto industry.
