A user had 1 million dollars worth of cryptocurrency stolen from their exchange account due to a malicious Chrome extension

ChainCatcher message, X user Nakamao posted that he suffered a hacking attack, resulting in the theft of 1 million dollars from his Binance account. The hacker bypassed the password and 2FA verification by hijacking the user's browser cookies and conducted a series of wash trading. Subsequent investigations revealed that the issue originated from a malicious Chrome extension called Aggr.
