Trump's campaign team had nearly $300 million in funds in May
ChainCatcher news, according to Caixin, former U.S. President Trump's campaign team announced on June 3 local time that they and the Republican National Committee (GOP) raised $141 million in May. This figure is significantly higher than the $76 million they raised in April. The Trump campaign team stated that the May fundraising benefited from grassroots small donations, with an average contribution of $70.27, and 25% of the donors were first-time contributors to Trump. In addition to the fundraising by the Trump campaign team and the Republican National Committee, external committees supporting Trump raised $150 million in May. Therefore, it is currently estimated that the Trump campaign team had nearly $300 million in funding in May.
Biden's campaign team has not yet announced the total fundraising for May. Data released by both camps in April showed that Trump and the Republican camp raised $76 million in April, surpassing the $51 million reported by Biden and the Democratic National Committee for the same month for the first time.
