Franklin Templeton CEO: Companies built on platforms like Ethereum and Solana will compete with traditional companies
ChainCatcher news, Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson stated in response to the question "What do you think about cryptocurrency":
"One should not overlook the progress of cryptocurrency, as real companies are being built on first-level platforms like Ethereum, Solana, and Cardano, which will compete with traditional companies.
For example, today when you search on a search engine, you have all the economic benefits. If in the future you could own your information, tokenization would allow you to do that, you can imagine. In fact, there is a company that pays you with their currency when you search. As long as there is the ability to exchange for fiat currency, it has value.
This could threaten some old models because it allows individuals to almost become part of the network. As you expand the network, you will be rewarded like a shareholder, which changes the relationship between asset owners and the assets."
