After opening registration for Chinese users, Bybit will relocate employees to Malaysia and Dubai
ChainCatcher news, according to reports by Wu, Bybit is launching a comprehensive plan to relocate employees to Malaysia and Dubai after opening registration for Chinese users, and is considering closing offices in domestic locations such as Shanghai and Shenzhen. Currently, most of the technical staff are located domestically, and for employees who are unwilling to leave, layoffs may occur gradually with compensation provided.
Analysts point out that after opening to Chinese users, domestic employees will undoubtedly bear significant risks. Bybit's actions are considered routine; previously, other exchanges and cryptocurrency institutions have also required all employees to relocate abroad for collective work or face layoffs.
