Degen: Developing a new incentive mechanism aimed at rewarding long-term holders

ChainCatcher news, the official Degen project of the Farcaster ecosystem Meme coin stated on the X platform that after listening to community feedback, they realized that the current reward incentive policy is not effective. They are currently developing a new incentive mechanism to reward long-term members and reduce farming behavior. They will quickly iterate and improve in the next season's activities to curb token farming behavior.

In addition, the official clarified that the future system will require users to demonstrate their commitment to the Degen project by locking or staking, aiming to reward those who hold DEGEN tokens for the long term. The corresponding incentive mechanism is currently under development.
