ChainCatcher news, the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has clarified that a circulating list of tokens allegedly set to be delisted is false. Upbit refuted this list on its official channel on the South Korean messaging app Kakao, stating that it is "baseless." Reportedly, after this list began circulating on online forums, the prices of altcoins listed on Upbit saw a significant drop.

This incident comes as South Korea's "Virtual Asset User Protection Act" is set to take effect on July 19. Upbit emphasized that a large-scale delisting, as rumored, is highly unlikely to occur.
