The third Sonic governance proposal of Fantom has been approved
ChainCatcher news, the Fantom Foundation announced on Twitter that the third Sonic governance proposal has been approved. The proposal includes content such as ecosystem grants, a new token burn mechanism, and innovative programs like Sonic Spark and Sonic University.
It is reported that over the next six years, the Sonic Foundation will allocate a portion of tokens as operating funds for Sonic Labs.
In addition, if the community decides to keep the inflation rate at 1.5% per year over the six years, then 47,625,000 tokens will be minted each year. If Sonic Labs only uses 5 million tokens in that year, the Sonic Foundation will burn the remaining tokens.
