Security: A scam team impersonated Coinbase to phish and steal $1.7 million in assets

ChainCatcher message, in the past week, at least three Coinbase users and one cryptocurrency user have become targets of scammers impersonating Coinbase, with one victim losing 1.7 million dollars. The scammers directed the victims to a website, prompting them to enter their mnemonic phrase to stop transactions. The victims knew this was unsafe but still entered part of the phrase without submitting it. A few hours later, the victims' wallets were drained of 1.7 million dollars in crypto assets.
