CEO of Singapore Exchange: The local ecosystem is not yet ready for Bitcoin spot ETFs

ChainCatcher news, according to Bitcoin News, Singapore Exchange CEO Loh Boon Chye stated that the local ecosystem in Singapore is currently not ready for a spot Bitcoin ETF. Over time, as the ecosystem matures, the Singapore Exchange will be regarded as one of the most innovative exchanges or platforms in the world.

The Singapore Exchange was formerly known as the Singapore Stock Exchange, which was established on May 24, 1973. On December 1, 1999, the Singapore Stock Exchange (SES) merged with the Singapore International Monetary Exchange (SIMEX) to form the Singapore Exchange.
