Animoca Brands Co-founder: The NFT Market is Seasonal

ChainCatcher news, Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, stated in a recent interview that thanks to Telegram and TON, he believes that in the next 12 to 18 months, we will see over 100 million users join Web3, as distribution channels like Telegram are launching games.

The current monthly transaction volume for NFTs is about $500 million, and typically after the summer, when market activity rebounds, more trading volume and activity can be seen; the NFT market also exhibits seasonality.

In addition, Animoca Brands currently has over 500 investments, with a focus on gaming, education, and distribution. In the gaming sector, there are about 160 intended investments, while over 70 investment deals have been completed in the education sector.
