According to ChainCatcher news, WhaleAlert monitored that around 04:26 Beijing time today, Tether Treasury minted 1 billion USDT on the TRON network.

In response, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that this 1 billion USDT is a supplement to the inventory on the TRON network. This is an authorized but unissued transaction, meaning that this issuance will be used for the next issuance requests and cross-chain exchange inventory.
