Polygon plans to migrate MATIC to POL on September 4th

ChainCatcher news, the Polygon Foundation announced on platform X that the Polygon mainnet upgrade is scheduled for September 4, 2024. After receiving community approval, POL will replace MATIC as the native gas and staking token of Polygon PoS, and in subsequent phases, POL will play a key role in AggLayer.
