ChainCatcher news, Ava Labs engineering director Patrick O'Grady will leave the team to start a new company. Patrick O'Grady will continue to serve as a technical advisor for Ava Labs. Details about his new company have not yet been disclosed.

O'Grady wrote: "The most popular applications on today's networks are relentless in their pursuit of differentiated performance and efficiency (as a means of providing more value to users). I believe that the most popular applications of the on-chain era will succeed by doing the same."
