Trump announces debate with Harris on September 4

If she "is unwilling or unable" to attend that day, he will hold a citizens' assembly online. Trump mentioned in a post on Truth Social that the debate will take place in Pennsylvania, with the location to be determined.

Trump was originally scheduled to face President Biden in a debate hosted by ABC News, and Harris has been urging Trump to still participate. In the post, Trump stated that the ABC debate "has been partially canceled because Biden is no longer running."
