2024-08-04 23:16:18

ChainCatcher news, according to mempool data, miners have mined a stale block at Bitcoin height 855363, with only a 75-second time interval from the previous block height.

Mempool founder @mononautical posted on social media, "All transactions in this stale block were broadcasted in the last minute or so.

Therefore, this block may have been mined by a brand new node, accidentally going into production without syncing the mempool."
