OSL Group Interim Performance Report: Total revenue of HKD 123.8 million, loss decreased by 90.2% year-on-year

ChainCatcher news, Hong Kong listed company OSL Group has released its interim results announcement for the six months ending June 30, 2024.

Key performance data:

1. The International Financial Reporting Standards revenue from digital asset and blockchain platform business was HKD 123.8 million, a year-on-year increase of 17.7% compared to HKD 100.52 million last year;

2. The loss from continuing operations significantly decreased by 90.2% year-on-year from HKD 98.9 million to HKD 9.6 million;

3. The digital asset balance includes approximately HKD 179 million held by the Group in designated client accounts under various contractual arrangements (December 31, 2023: HKD 639 million). Additionally, it includes the Group's proprietary digital assets of approximately HKD 258 million (December 31, 2023: HKD 184 million). The balance is measured at fair value through profit or loss;

4. As of June 30, 2024, the fair value of digital assets received from clients and held on their behalf by the wholly-owned subsidiary and Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission licensed corporation OSL Digital Securities Limited was approximately HKD 3.612 billion (December 31, 2023: HKD 874 million).
