Galxe has launched the alpha mainnet of its Gravity chain

ChainCatcher news, Galxe has launched the alpha mainnet of its Layer 1 blockchain, Gravity. The launch of the alpha mainnet will bring all of Galxe's products (including Quest, Compass, Passport, and Galxe Identity Protocol) on-chain.

Gravity is a Layer 1 full-chain smart contract platform designed to address the fragmentation issues of Web3 by "providing seamless cross-chain interactions and full-chain abstraction," thereby achieving a smoother user experience. The G token will serve as the native gas token of the blockchain, driving governance decisions and acting as a growth incentive and payment method within the Galxe ecosystem.

In addition, the fully operational Gravity mainnet is currently scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2025.
