MakerDAO founder: The new protocol will not include a freeze function at launch, only the ability to upgrade

ChainCatcher news, MakerDAO founder Rune Christensen responded to the discussion about "DAI adding a freeze feature." Christensen stated that, in fact, the new protocol will not have a freeze function at launch, only an upgrade capability. This means that future governance can decide how to implement a mechanism similar to a freeze function based on all data considerations, in order to mitigate various risk factors as much as possible.
