India's private bank HDFC Bank launches Unified Payment Interface and CBDC features

ChainCatcher news, Indian private bank HDFC Bank launched new features for Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and CBDC at the 2024 Global Fintech Festival to enhance customers' digital banking experience. These features were developed in collaboration with fintech companies such as Kreditpe, Tonetag, and Payu. The new products specifically include UPI Circle-Delegate Payment, personalized UPI experience, and user-level programmable CBDC.
