Putin: Russia "supports" Harris, calling her smile "contagious"

It was reported that when Putin was asked how he views the 2024 U.S. election, he said it is the choice of the American people. The new president of the United States will be elected by the people of the country, and Russia will respect the choice of the American people. Putin also mentioned that just as Biden suggested his supporters back Harris, "we will do the same, we will support her." Reports also indicated that Putin joked that Harris's laughter is "expressive and infectious," suggesting "she is doing well." He added that this might mean she will avoid imposing further sanctions on Russia.
