The Starknet community voted to approve the proposal to launch the STRK token staking program

ChainCatcher news, according to the community governance page, the Starknet community has voted to approve the proposal to launch the STRK token staking program. Starting from the fourth quarter of this year, any address holding more than 20,000 STRK will be able to stake STRK on the Starknet network.

Previous news, the governance proposal to activate the STRK staking feature on Starknet has opened for voting, which will end in 2 days. STRK holders will vote on the minting mechanism and the protocol for modifying the parameters of the minting mechanism.
