ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the polling company Harris Poll has completed a new survey funded by Grayscale.

The survey shows that an increasing number of voters indicate that they will seriously consider a candidate's knowledge and stance on cryptocurrency when deciding who to vote for. Among over 1,800 potential voters, 77% stated that presidential candidates should understand innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. 56% said they are more likely to vote for candidates who closely follow cryptocurrency issues.

Respondents believe that the Republican Party (Trump's side) has a slight advantage over the Democratic Party in supporting cryptocurrency investors, but this advantage is steadily increasing.

Additionally, the poll shows that an increasing number of voters (slowly rising to 21%, or about one-fifth) hold some form of cryptocurrency (usually Bitcoin) as an investment. In three snapshots of voter sentiment, those who purchased cryptocurrency increasingly indicated that they did so on the recommendation of financial advisors— in the latest poll, this figure was 27%, which is 7 percentage points higher than the last poll earlier this year.
