ChainCatcher news, according to ZachXBT, British scammer X account @ape_31 (also using @60711 account) has deceived over 250 users in the past year by posting fake profit and loss screenshots from a Bybit demo account, stealing more than $650,000.

Ape 31 guides victims to paid services through a news account, and after receiving payment, blocks them. Victims receive fake API keys to "watch" trades after payment, and Ape 31 also demands an additional $20,000 from victims by showcasing fake profit and loss screenshots.
