Bitwise submitted an XRP ETF application in Delaware

ChainCatcher news, a spokesperson for Bitwise confirmed to Cointelegraph that Bitwise has submitted an XRP ETF application, which has been officially filed on the Delaware state government website. According to the application, the Bitwise XRP ETF is set to launch on September 30, 2024. The registered agent is listed as CSC Delaware Trust Company, headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware.

It is reported that submitting the application in Delaware does not necessarily mean that a registration application will soon be submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This step may be part of early preparations, and formally submitting the application to the SEC could take several months.
