ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, Coinbase's Vice President of Enterprise and Business Development Shan Aggarwal stated that there has been a "shift" in negotiations between Coinbase and traditional financial institutions over the past six to nine months, which is accelerating, especially as issues related to cryptocurrency in the U.S. gain more support from both Republicans and Democrats. The dialogue could ultimately attract more traditional financial institutions into Web3, driving the mass adoption of digital assets.
