Circle: Native USDC has officially launched on the Sui network

ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, USDC issuer Circle announced that native USDC has officially launched on the Sui network. Sui thus becomes the first blockchain based on the Move language to support native USDC.

This integration allows Sui users to directly access USDC, a widely used stablecoin, as a native asset of the network, eliminating the additional complexity and risks associated with cross-chain bridging of assets. Jameel Khalfan, Director of Ecosystem Development at the Sui Foundation, stated: "The integration of native USDC into Sui will bring significant benefits to developers and users, unlocking limitless opportunities for the ecosystem."
