HBO believes that Peter Todd is one of the main arguments for Satoshi Nakamoto: misusing his own account to reply to Satoshi's posts, among others

According to @tier10k's summary, HBO's documentary about Bitcoin attempts to suggest that Peter Todd is the Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto (which Peter Todd himself denies). Some cases include: in 2010, Todd (using a new account) replied to Satoshi's post on the Bitcointalk forum; HBO claimed he mistakenly used his own account to complete Satoshi's post. Both accounts ceased activity a few days later. Todd later implemented the concept of Replace-by-Fee (RBF) discussed in that post.

Additionally, a document provider claims that Todd used the alias John Dillon to promote RBF. Both used British/Canadian spelling. Furthermore, the timing patterns of Satoshi's posts align with the schedule of a student claimed by the document provider, with more posts on weekends. Todd has discussed "sacrificing" Bitcoin; this may refer to destroying Satoshi's Bitcoins.
