Base research team releases cross-L2 call standard RIP-7755 proof of concept

2024-10-17 15:34:50

ChainCatcher news, Base co-founder Jesse Pollak disclosed that the Base research team has launched a proof of concept (POC) for the cross-L2 calling standard RIP-7755. This standard aims to achieve seamless cross-chain interoperability between different Ethereum Layer 2 networks, particularly mainstream Layer 2 networks like Optimism and Arbitrum.

Base research team member Jack Chuma stated that the proof of concept for RIP-7755 is applicable to blockchains that comply with the EIP-4788 standard, and it can currently verify the state of OP Stack chains and Arbitrum.
