MakerDAO plans to vote on brand selection on November 4th

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, MakerDAO is discussing whether to abandon the Sky brand due to a lukewarm market response after rebranding. Although the launch of the USDS stablecoin has been successful, the SKY token has performed poorly, recently dropping by 23%.

The community plans to hold a formal governance vote on November 4 to decide whether to revert to the original Maker brand, maintain the Sky brand, or undergo a rebranding.

Previous news, MakerDAO (now renamed Sky) founder Rune Christensen announced on social media that he will draft an Atlas Edit proposal for a community vote on the project's core branding choice.
