Cryptocurrency exchange Archax acquires Spanish brokerage KSCM to expand its European business
ChainCatcher news, cryptocurrency exchange and custodian Archax has agreed to acquire the Spanish brokerage King & Shaxson Capital Markets (KSCM) to expand its business in the EU following the implementation of the MiCA regulations.
KSCM was established in 2019 in Madrid, serving pan-European institutional clients. After the acquisition, it will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Archax. This acquisition will enable the FCA-registered company to extend its existing brokerage business, multilateral trading facilities (MTF), and custody services to Europe, while adding crypto derivatives to its license.
