Data: Metaplanet discloses its Bitcoin holdings valuation gains reached 27.54 million USD

ChainCatcher News, Japanese listed company Metaplanet has released its third-quarter financial data and the fair value of its Bitcoin holdings. The current valuation gain of Bitcoin held by Metaplanet has reached 4.27 billion yen (approximately 27.54 million USD), which exceeds the company's market value at the beginning of the year.

Although the value of its Bitcoin holdings has increased, Metaplanet reported a net loss of 2.1 million USD for the nine months ending September 30, 2024, an improvement compared to a loss of 2.7 million USD in the same period last year.
