Crypto.com acquires Australian regulated licensed brokerage Fintek Securities

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, Crypto.com has announced the acquisition of Fintek Securities Pty Ltd. (Fintek), a brokerage and trading company that holds an Australian financial services license and is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Through this acquisition, Crypto.com’s subsidiary will be able to offer a wide range of financial products to eligible users, including deposit products, derivatives, securities, foreign exchange, and managed investment schemes. This acquisition marks Crypto.com's second time achieving traditional brokerage capabilities through its subsidiary, having previously acquired SEC-registered Watchdog Capital, LLC.
