ChainCatcher news, according to Fox Business citing informed sources, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) led by Musk may develop a mobile application for tax filing, allowing taxpayers to submit their tax returns for free. The plan is currently in its preliminary stages.

DOGE is considering how to make it easier for Americans to pay their taxes each year, as part of a broader set of measures expected to thoroughly review federal programs to save costs and improve efficiency by streamlining programs and eliminating redundancies.
