ChainCatcher news, according to a recent research report by Coinwire, 76% of cryptocurrency KOLs on platform X have promoted Meme coins that are now worthless, with two-thirds of the promoted tokens completely losing their value. The data shows that among 377 surveyed KOLs, only 1% of the promoted Meme coins achieved a tenfold increase.

The study found that 80% of the promoted Meme coins plummeted by 70% within a week, and after a month, 90% lost 80% of their value, while after three months, 86% dropped by over 90%. KOLs with more than 200,000 followers had the worst promotion results, with their promoted projects averaging a loss of 39% after a week and a loss expanding to 89% after three months. In contrast, small accounts with fewer than 50,000 followers averaged a positive return of 141% on their promoted projects after three months. (Bitcoin.comNews)
