Beam Network will evolve into a Layer 1 blockchain after the Etna upgrade

ChainCatcher news, according to the official announcement from Beam, with the approval of the Avalanche community proposal ACP-77, the Etna upgrade will be implemented soon, affecting all subnets, including the Beam Network.

After this upgrade, Beam Network will officially be referred to as a Layer 1 blockchain network, as it will free itself from more restrictions of the Avalanche network while still enjoying its infrastructure.
