ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, senior digital officials of the EU have committed to "actively" advancing the investigation into the X platform (formerly Twitter) to determine whether it has violated the Digital Services Act.

The law aims to combat illegal and harmful content, with the investigation focusing on whether the X platform promotes far-right political content through algorithms. If violations are confirmed, the X platform could face fines of up to 6% of its global annual revenue. The European Commission stated that it will reach a conclusion as soon as possible in accordance with the law.
