Trump plans to issue a series of executive orders within hours of taking the oath of office
ChainCatcher News, President-elect Donald Trump plans to issue a series of executive orders within hours of taking office on January 20, addressing issues such as immigration, energy, federal employees, and regulatory reform, aiming to swiftly and comprehensively implement his policy agenda.
The executive orders he plans to issue include actions to tighten border restrictions; authorizing the federal government to complete the unfinished border wall; establishing a mechanism for mass deportations; and withholding federal resources from sanctuary cities until they stop providing protection for undocumented immigrants. The Trump team also intends to reduce the number of federal employees by freezing government hiring and requiring federal employees to return to the office.
