ChainCatcher message, Slow Mist founder Yu Xian disclosed that the X accounts of several well-known projects, including Aizel Network and Foresight Ventures, have recently been targeted by phishing attacks. The attackers use threats of copyright infringement in tweets to lure victims into providing sensitive information such as account passwords, 2FA verification codes, and KYC documents.
Yu Xian discovered through testing that the attackers verify the authenticity of the provided information, and then use the stolen accounts to post false token information, particularly scams related to AI Agents. He warns users to be vigilant against any suspicious behavior that requests passwords or private keys.
