ChainCatcher news, according to AXIOS, a copy of a letter shows that Google told the EU that despite the new EU laws, it will not add fact-checking in search results and YouTube videos, nor will it use fact-checking when ranking or removing content.

It is reported that Google has never included fact-checking as part of its content moderation practices. The company has privately informed EU lawmakers that it does not intend to change its approach, but it reiterated its position before a voluntary code becomes law in the near future. (Jinshi)
