Vitalik: Personally opposes ETH staking through service providers by the Ethereum Foundation, supports independent staking

ChainCatcher message, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated on social media: "I personally oppose staking through service providers for the Ethereum Foundation; we should set an example in supporting independent staking. Staking pools are a good option for those who cannot stake on their own, but the Ethereum Foundation is not in that situation; we have far more than 32 ETH in assets and a large number of technically skilled node operators.

Moreover, this is also more conducive to the idea of 'understanding the problems that need to be solved more directly through the actual use of technology.'"
