Semler Scientific increases the issuance size of convertible preferred notes to $85 million
ChainCatcher news, according to streetinsider, the U.S. publicly traded company Semler Scientific announced an increase in the issuance size of its convertible preferred notes to $85 million. The company had previously disclosed plans to issue convertible preferred notes with a total principal amount of $75 million, maturing in 2030, through a private placement to qualified institutional buyers.
Semler Scientific intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from the issuance to pay for the costs of the capped call option transactions described below, and the remaining net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including the purchase of Bitcoin.
