OKX Web3 wallet will support EIP7702 as soon as possible

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, to further support the Ethereum ecosystem, the OKX Web3 wallet will be the first to support the EIP-7702 upgrade, which is expected to be completed by April 2025.

It is reported that EIP-7702 is an Ethereum Improvement Proposal that enables EOA addresses to execute smart contract code, achieving Account Abstraction. It will introduce more flexible transaction methods, such as batch transactions and Gas payment on behalf, enhancing user experience. In addition, EIP-7702 blurs the lines between EOA and smart contract accounts, providing more flexibility for the Ethereum ecosystem.
