Ondo Finance launches Layer 1 public chain Ondo Chain and Ondo Global Markets platform

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the RWA asset tokenization platform Ondo Finance announced the launch of a new layer-1 public chain, Ondo Chain, and has gained support from institutions such as Franklin Templeton, Wellington Management, and WisdomTree for ecosystem development.

This public chain will combine the security and compliance features of permissioned chains with the openness of public chains like Ethereum. In addition, Ondo Finance has also launched the Ondo Global Markets platform, supporting tokenized trading of over 1,000 securities listed on the NYSE and NASDAQ, including fixed income ETFs and individual stocks.
